Project Description :
The project “Remember The Number” is a project based on Intel 8085 microprocessor. This is an 8 bit microprocessor that can be interfaced with maximum 64 K bytes of memory. It consists of a 16 bit Address bus and 8 bit data bus that is demultiplexed from lower order address bus. These buses help in selecting and transferring data to and from memory as well as external devices. For  processing purposes the 8085 consists of 8 registers namely A,B,C,D,E,F,H,L that are 8 bit registers and PC,SP that are 16 bit registers. The 8085 has 74 instructions at its disposal for processing data.

Our project was to make a game using 8085 microprocessor. It consists of seven segment displays and a switch. It’s a one player game to be played in 5 levels. The player will be given a digit ranging from 0-9 on a seven segment display in each level. Then, a sequence of 5 numbers would appear on 3 seven segment displays and the player has to press the switch whenever the number having the digit appears. To make the game more interesting , the time gap between the numbers appearing would keep on decreasing . Correct press would fetch you +1 whereas a wrong one can cost you -2.
